How long does creation take?
You'll receive your finished book to check (the preview) by e-mail, usually within 2–12 hours. After your approval, all files are ready in your account shortly afterwards. The hardcover is delivered within 7–14 business days.
What do I get?
A personalized book with 20 pages of adventure plus 20 pages of bedtime stories – every illustration with your child at the center. Depending on the product: e-book for download, premium hardcover, or both in a bundle. Optional: videos, posters, coloring pages and more.
Can I see a preview before buying?
Yes! The cover is free to view before you pay. After purchase you receive a full preview (cover + all pages) to review. The book is finalized after your approval – or automatically 14 days after you receive the preview, if we don't hear from you by then.
Can I change texts and images?
Yes. Before approval you can use our edit feature to adjust texts and regenerate individual images. You stay in full control – you only approve when you're happy.
What happens after my approval?
We produce your book: e-books are available for download immediately. Hardcovers are printed and delivered within 7–14 business days. You'll receive a confirmation and tracking for physical orders.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship printed books to all 27 EU countries, the UK and the USA – shipping is included in the price. You can download the e-book anywhere in the world.
Is the book personalized or generic?
Fully personalized: name, appearance (hair color, skin tone, etc.) and the chosen occasion are incorporated into the story. Your child is the hero of the story.
What if I don't like the book?
Before you approve, you can change the text and images in your preview until everything is just right. An e-book can no longer be cancelled once the AI creation has started, because your book is then already being made just for you. A printed book can be cancelled as long as it has not yet gone into production at the print shop. Your statutory warranty rights are not affected – you'll find all the details in our Terms and Conditions.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna, plus EPS in Austria – securely via Stripe.
Are my photos stored?
Your photos are used solely for creating the book and are deleted or anonymized after the order is completed in line with our privacy policy. We do not share them with third parties.
I can't find the email – what can I do?
Please check your spam folder first – and if you use Gmail, the “Promotions” tab too. Our emails come from noreply@story-magic.ai. Still nothing? Log in with the email address you ordered with: we'll send you a new sign-in link, and your account shows all your orders. If that link doesn't arrive either, or if you mistyped your address, write to us – we're happy to help.
